Web Development Process

We have a well-defined design and development process that will include your feedback throughout the entire process.
discovery

1. Discovery Meeting.

We don’t assume. We want to get to know you and your brand. It’s important for us to understand how you do business, who your clients are and how you want your business to be seen. This is when you tell us all about the website that you want to build. We will also send you a questionnaire to acquire additional information.

quote and scope

2. Quote & Scope of Work.

At this point, we’ll have enough information to start assembling our quote and scope of work. This will contain a detailed description of the project, a price and an estimated timeline.

contract

3. Contract.

No one likes paperwork but it’s important to have things written down so that we all know what to expect during the project.

invoice

4. Invoice.

We require a payment of 50% of the total project cost before we start work on the project. The additional 50% is due at the time we go live with the website. We are more than happy to work out other payment terms if needed, just let us know.

sitemap development

5. Sitemap Development.

We will develop a sitemap to outline every page on your website. This helps in making the site easy to navigate and ensure a good user experience.

website design

6. Website Design.

First and foremost, your website must be easy to use. There is a reason behind every line and color that goes into our designs, all working toward the goal of easy, seamless usability. We will develop the design, with your feedback, until you have the design you are looking for.

website development

7. Website Development.

At this point, we will start to build your website on our development server. You will be provided a URL where you will be able to see the website throughout the development process. We will implement your feedback and fine-tune the site until it is to your liking.

final review

8. Final Review.

When all the design and development has been completed, we will send it to you for final review and any last-minute changes. After we go live, you will have an additional 2 weeks to request any minor changes.

website launch

9. Website Launch.

We will move your website to the server of your choice. If you need hosting services, we can provide them to you upon request. We will install analytics and go through our final testing phase. We will also provide training for any administration tools that your site may require. Once launched, we’ll be standing by to handle any requests, additions, or enhancements for the life of your website.

website maintenance

10. Ongoing Maintenance.

We highly recommend some type of monthly maintenance plan as your new website will need to be updated on a regular basis. We offer monthly maintenance plans if needed so let us know and we will set you up. Check out our maintenance packages.
